Apollo.io Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and Real Costs

Build your dream workflow with Databar today.

Apollo.io has four plans as of September 2026. Free costs $0. Basic is $49 per seat per month billed annually or $65 billed monthly, Professional is $79 annually or $99 monthly, and Organization is $119 per seat per month, annual billing only, with a three-seat minimum. Every plan runs on credits: an email costs 1 credit, a phone number 8.

That's the short version. Below is every tier exactly as Apollo's pricing page shows it today, how the credits get spent, what a real team pays over a year, and the add-ons that sit outside the per-seat price. All prices are in USD, exclude tax, and were checked in September 2026.

How much does Apollo.io cost in 2026?

Apollo prices per seat. The pricing page has an annual and a monthly toggle, and annual is the default view. Here are both.

Apollo labels annual billing "save 24%". That figure is the Basic discount ($49 against $65). On Professional the annual price is 20% below the monthly one ($79 against $99). If you switch the page to monthly, Organization still shows a price but is marked "Annual Only". Paid plans come with a 14-day trial, and Organization goes through sales.

How do Apollo credits work?

Credits are how Apollo meters data. The pricing page FAQ lists the common costs:

  • Email address: 1 credit per contact.

  • Phone number: 8 credits per contact.

  • Data enrichment: up to 9 credits per record.

  • AI Power-up run: 1 credit.

  • Exports: exporting a contact outside Apollo (CSV, CRM sync, or Person API enrichment pushed to tools like Outreach or Salesloft) uses export credits.

Three rules decide how far the allowance stretches. First, annual plans get the whole year's credits upfront, and Apollo says included credits refresh each year and unused credits don't roll over. Second, if you run past your allowance you aren't cut off before the billing cycle ends. Apollo notifies you, and you can buy more credits in the app, but the add-on credit price isn't published on the pricing page. Third, trials include 50 credits and 5 mobile credits, so a trial tells you how the product works rather than how the data holds up across a real list.

Phone numbers matter most for the maths. At 8 credits each, a Basic seat's 30,000 annual credits covers 3,750 phone reveals and nothing else, or 30,000 email reveals and nothing else. Most teams land somewhere in between, so work out your email to phone mix before you pick a tier. If phones are the main job, compare Apollo against the dedicated tools in our phone number enrichment roundup.

What does Apollo cost for a real team?

The list price is simple arithmetic. These are worked examples from the published prices, not quotes, and they leave out tax, add-ons and extra credits.

Team

Plan and billing

Yearly list price

Credits per year

Solo founder

Basic, annual

1 x $49 x 12 = $588

30,000

Solo founder

Basic, monthly

1 x $65 x 12 = $780

30,000 (2,500 a month)

5 reps

Professional, annual

5 x $79 x 12 = $4,740

240,000 (48,000 per seat)

5 reps

Professional, monthly

5 x $99 x 12 = $5,940

240,000 (4,000 per seat a month)

Smallest Organization

Organization, 3 seats, annual

3 x $119 x 12 = $4,284

216,000 (72,000 per seat)

Two things push the real bill above these lines. Seats are the first: Apollo charges for every person who needs a login, so marketing, RevOps and managers who only look at reports still count. The second is anything metered outside the seat price, covered next.

Which Apollo add-ons cost extra?

The pricing page lists two paid add-ons, both priced per team rather than per seat, and notes that add-ons are bought in the app after you pick a paid plan:

  • Inbound, $119 per team per month, billed annually. Company-level website visitor identification (up to 50,000 companies a month), domain tracking for up to 100 domains, 5,000 enriched form contacts a month (credit usage applies), a form builder, and US-only contact-level visitor identification for up to 10,000 contacts a month.

  • Advanced Dialer, $119 per team per month, billed annually. International calling, a parallel dialer, a power dialer and local presence numbers.

Calling on the standard US dialer isn't free either. Basic, Professional and Organization all list "US Dialer (credits apply)", so minutes draw from the same credit pool as your data. Apollo also describes its add-on pricing as introductory and notes that features and pricing may change.

One more line worth reading if you run an agency: Apollo says the plans on its pricing page are for internal business use only. Sharing Apollo data with customers, powering an external product or reselling needs a separate agreement with custom pricing.

Which Apollo plan should you pick?

The features split cleanly by tier, so the choice is mostly about which limit you hit first.

  • Free if you're testing. You get 2 sequences, basic filters, an AI Assistant capped at 5 chats, CRM enrichment capped at 100 a month and API access. Phone access ends after the initial period.

  • Basic if one or two people run outbound. It adds unlimited sequences, advanced filters, CRM integrations, waterfall enrichment, the deliverability suite with email warmup, CSV/CRM/API enrichment, 6 intent topics and 2 automated workflows.

  • Professional if you run multi-touch outreach across a team. It adds Agents, A/Z testing, unlimited Gmail and Microsoft mailboxes, automated workflows, 4,000 minutes of call recording with AI insights, analytics and pre-built reports, and unlimited lead scores.

  • Organization if you need governance. It adds customizable reports and dashboards, SSO, advanced security configurations, 12 intent topics, unlimited inbound routers, 8,000 recording minutes and the option to use your own LLM API key.

If you're weighing Apollo against a different kind of tool entirely, our Apollo vs ZoomInfo and Clay vs Apollo comparisons cover the trade-offs beyond price.

Is Apollo cheaper than Seamless.AI or ZoomInfo?

On transparency, Apollo is ahead of most contact-data vendors: every tier and its credit allowance is on a public page. Seamless.AI publishes only its free plan, and ZoomInfo sells through quotes (see our ZoomInfo pricing breakdown). The table compares the pricing models we checked today.

Where Apollo's pricing works well, and where it doesn't

It works well when a small sales team wants one login for search, emails, sequences and a dialer. The published prices mean you can model the spend without a sales call, and a Basic seat at $49 a month on annual billing is one of the cheaper ways to get a database and a sequencer together.

It gets expensive in three situations. When lots of people need access, because every login is a seat. When phones are the main job, because 8 credits per number drains an allowance eight times faster than emails. And when you're forced onto monthly billing for flexibility, which costs 20% to 24% more on Basic and Professional, while Organization isn't offered monthly at all.

It's also a single vendor's data. Apollo now offers waterfall enrichment on Basic and up, but if Apollo's own coverage is thin in your segment, you'll feel it in every seat you pay for. Our Apollo.io alternatives guide covers the tools teams pair with it or move to.

Where Databar fits

Databar isn't a sequencer, so it doesn't replace Apollo for sending. It's the data layer: a workspace with 100+ data sources, waterfall enrichment that tries providers in the order you set, and pricing that isn't per seat. In a waterfall, only the provider that returns data is charged, and lookups that return nothing aren't charged. A partial record that returns some data does count as a charged result. Apollo itself is one of the connectors (Apollo on Databar covers organization enrichment and job postings). Plans are on the pricing page.

FAQ

Is Apollo free?

Yes, there's a Free plan at $0 with 900 credits per seat per year, granted monthly. It includes 2 sequences, basic filters, a 5-chat AI Assistant and API access. Phone number access is only available for a limited time, after which your team may be limited to one seat unless you upgrade.

Is Apollo cheaper on annual billing?

Yes. Basic drops from $65 to $49 per seat per month and Professional from $99 to $79. Annual plans also get the full year's credits upfront. Organization is only sold on annual billing.

How many credits does an Apollo phone number cost?

8 credits per phone number, against 1 credit for an email address, according to Apollo's pricing FAQ as of September 2026. Data enrichment uses up to 9 credits per record.

Do unused Apollo credits roll over?

No. Apollo's pricing page says included credits refresh each year and unused credits don't roll over. You can buy extra credits in the app if you run out.

Can I cancel Apollo anytime?

You can request cancellation in Plan Overview or by emailing support, but it takes effect at the end of your current term. Mid-term downgrades aren't refunded, so an annual plan is a 12-month commitment.
