Finding the right contact information can make or break a business deal, sales campaign, or networking opportunity. According to recent studies, sales professionals spend nearly 40% of their time researching prospects and hunting down accurate contact details. Until now, accessing high-quality email finder tools required juggling multiple platforms, complex integrations, and often hefty monthly subscriptions that put enterprise-grade data out of reach for smaller teams and individual professionals.
Today, we're excited to announce our partnership with Hunter.io that brings professional email discovery directly into the Databar.ai platform. Our users can now access Hunter's powerful email intelligence through our no-code interface, making it easier than ever to find verified email addresses and connect with decision-makers across any industry.

Why Hunter.io Makes Perfect Sense for Databar Users
Hunter.io has established itself as one of the most trusted names in professional email discovery. Their platform helps millions of users find verified email addresses, validate contact information, and connect with the right people at the right companies. What sets Hunter apart is their commitment to data accuracy and their comprehensive approach to email intelligence.
"We selected Hunter.io because of their reputation for data quality and their focus on helping businesses build genuine connections," said David Abaev, Co-Founder & CEO at Databar.ai. "Their email verification technology and broad database perfectly complement our mission to democratize access to enterprise-grade datasets."
Hunter.io is available on Databar. You can run four Hunter enrichments inside your tables: find a person's email from their name and company, list email addresses at a company filtered by department and seniority, look up the person behind an email, and pull company data from a website. Hunter is also a step in Databar's email by name waterfall, and every enrichment runs from the Databar API, CLI and MCP server. You don't need a separate Hunter subscription, and if you already have one, you can connect your own key.
What can you do with Hunter on Databar?
These are the Hunter enrichments in the Databar catalog as of September 2026, with their credit prices at that date:
Enrichment | What you give it | What you get back | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
Find emails by company and name | First and last name (or full name) and a company domain | Work email with Hunter's confidence score, verification status, catch-all flag and sources, plus position, LinkedIn and phone number when Hunter has them | 6 |
Find emails by company and department | A company domain, optionally a department (for example sales, marketing, finance), a seniority (junior, senior, executive) and personal or generic addresses only | Email addresses at that company with name, position, seniority, department, confidence score and sources, 10 per page | 6 |

Get company data by website | A company domain | Industry, description and HQ location | 5 |
Current prices and field lists are on the Hunter.io integration page, including Email Finder, email leads from a company domain and the Email Verifier.
Where does Hunter fit in a waterfall?
Hunter is one of nine providers in Databar's email by name waterfall, alongside Icypeas, Snov.io, Findymail, Prospeo, Leadmagic, Datagma, RocketReach and People Data Labs. The waterfall tries providers in the order you set and stops at the first usable result, and providers that find nothing aren't charged. You can have ZeroBounce, Bouncer or Emailable check each address before it's accepted, so an email that fails verification moves the search on to the next provider.
At 6 credits, Hunter sits mid-range in that waterfall; where it belongs depends on how it performs on your list. How to set up an email waterfall walks through testing provider order on a sample.
Hunter direct or through Databar?
Option | Pricing model | Best for | Data coverage focus | API / MCP access |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Hunter direct | Credits per month: Free (50), Starter €49/month or €34/month billed annually (2,000), Growth €149 or €104 (10,000), Scale €299 or €209 (25,000). An email search uses 1 credit, a verification 0.5 (hunter.io/pricing, 17 Sep 2026) | Teams that want email finding, verification and simple cold email campaigns in one tool | Hunter's own email data and pattern matching | API listed on every plan |
Hunter on Databar | Databar credits per result (5 to 6 per enrichment); Build $99/month with 5,000 credits, Scale $495/month with 50,000 | Enriching lists in tables, running Hunter with other email finders in a waterfall, and agents or scripts | Hunter's email and company data plus 160+ other providers in the same account | REST API, Python SDK, CLI and hosted MCP server |
If Hunter is already your email finder and campaign tool, stay direct. If you enrich CSVs or CRM records in bulk and want a fallback when Hunter doesn't have someone, Databar saves you wiring providers together. If you pay for Hunter already, connect your own Hunter API key in Databar: those requests use Databar actions instead of credits, and Hunter bills you under your plan.
How do teams use Hunter on Databar?
Account-based outbound. Start from target domains, run Find emails by company and department with the departments and seniority you sell to, and get contacts per account without building the list by hand.
Filling CRM gaps. Run Find emails by company and name, or the full email by name waterfall, on records that have a name and a domain but no email.
Knowing who signed up. Run Reverse email lookup on inbound sign-ups to see who they are before routing. Reverse email lookup covers the workflow.
Handling catch-alls. Hunter's result includes a catch-all flag, so you can tag those addresses for cautious sending instead of deleting them. See the cost of deleting catch-all emails.
Always verify emails before a campaign: how to verify and clean email lists has the steps.
How do you get started?
Create a table in Databar, or import a CSV or your CRM records.
Click Enrich and search for Hunter.io, or open the Waterfalls tab and pick the email by name waterfall.
Map your columns to the inputs (name, domain or email).
Run it on a few rows, check the results, then run the rest.
The same enrichments are available through the Databar API and CLI and the Databar MCP server, so Claude or your own scripts can call Hunter without a separate integration.
FAQ
Do I need a Hunter account to use it on Databar?
No. Databar connects to Hunter for you and charges Databar credits per result. If you have a Hunter plan, you can add your own API key instead.
Can I verify emails with Hunter on Databar?
Hunter's finder results include its verification status. For a separate verification step on emails from any provider, Databar's email waterfalls use ZeroBounce, Bouncer or Emailable.
Am I charged if Hunter doesn't find an email?
No. Lookups that return no data aren't charged, and in a waterfall the next provider runs.
How does Hunter compare with Apollo and RocketReach?
We compare the three in Apollo vs Hunter vs RocketReach.
